3 pvs which one do I want
So I'm getting ready to order kilt number three. After a brief experiment with a casual (jeans waist) pv from scotweb I've decided that I want an 8 yard pv. I like its unwrinkleyness but I don't like its lack of fabric. So Ive narrowed it to a USAK semi-trad, an 8yrd PV from scotweb, or the 8yrd PV from skye highland outfitters. What does everyone recommend? Does the USAK semi trad use the full "8 yards" (I know none of them are really 8 yards)

I do not think even the traditional wool 8 yarders are not a true 8 yd kilt... It all depends on your measurements and the amount of material required to complete your kilt..
As for whick kilt, you should get? I do not know much about Skye Highlander kilt, but it seems he puts a very good effort into everything else he does, so one could expect the same in his kilts... Rocky has always been tops in his semi trads, you might say, Rocky has set the standard.. Scotweb, again I have not seen their p/v's to give a valid comment on them.
All three are sponsers, so you know you will be treated right.. If I had to make a choice it would probably be with Rocky, since I have one of his casuals and like it a lot.. but something tells me that Skye might be worth checking out..

I was about to advise going for the Skye kilt, but nevermind. Good luck!
