Maybe even a regular tartan tie would look good. I found some for cheap from the Scottish Lion in their "Catalog Overstock" section.

I also think that they had some bow-ties at reasonable prices.

    Hope it's a great day.

Scottish Lion has silk tartan cumberbunds and bowties. They also have tartan vests.

Under their clan and coat of arms sections you can find clan crest badges, cufflinks and other items that may suit your needs.

better still, buy a kilt, and wear it with the tux jacket, modern looking.
braces (suspenders in U.S.A) too maybe a good idea
    or even tartan cufflinks

    OH THAT HURTS!!!

Four kilts and four sets of kilt hose for a wedding... what... in three days?! Any longer than that and it's not a problem for anyone around here!

The money's only a problem if you're buying in Scotland.

Tartan waistcoat and tied bow-tie would be my vote. My order or dress is premium suit for almost any situation, Tuxedo when a lady requests it, Trews and P.C. when everyone else is kilted and you want to stand out. Kilt and P.C. when you just want to look your best. O'Neille

A tartan cummerbund would be outstanding.

A tartan cumberbund and tie or wastecoat and tie would look great. I can't remember if they're worn with a tux, but what about a pocket square, though it's a little small.
