    Another Hanging Idea

Using the two-for-two-bucks hangers from most departments stores, I discover a problem with sagging pleats...

The solution, then, is to use three hangers to make two. Voila:

It's easy to take apart the hangers if you do it gently.

Now what I would like to know is if these clips are not healthy for the fabric. They clamp tightly over a small surface area, and I fear they may dent the fabric long-term. Any advice?

Wear your kilts as often as possible, thereby shortening the "Hang" time!

They also make "pants" hangers that are two wooden bars that clamp together, I just remembered that and should look to see if I have any for my kilts! Then there is no sagging and no metal clips.

    DALE.

I use BUMERANG hangers from IKEA they cost 99 cents each they are wonderful and are strong enough to hold up an 8 yard 16 oz. kilt. Here is the webpage with them.

This is how they work, there is felt on the inside of each piece of wood which helps tp protect the fabric, the way I see it I spend quite a bit on a good quality kilt, and I want to hang as nicely as possible.
