    Anyone familiar with this eBay-er?

    G'day Gang,

Just wondering if any of you kilt addicts have purchased a kilt from this eBay-er:

    http://myworld.ebay.com/bobilishious/

Seems to me he/she stocks kilts that have been made for customers who measured incorrectly. Any idea whom the kiltmaker is? Any idea of the quality? Just thought one of you might be able to shed some light on this one as some of the prices aren't bad...

    Slainte,

    Scotty

I actually bought the Kilt for my wedding from this seller. Fantastic quality and really fast shipping. They were very helpful and I am still really happy with the Kilt. I am just getting it taken in now that I have lost weight because it is so good I won't part with it.

I bought tartan from them. The transaction was pleasant & the order was shipped within a few days.

They look to be very good deals indeed. I am not sure I should have read this thread, now I want to buy more kilts, just because they are such a good deal.

I've been watching this seller with interest for some time but the kilts are all very short. However I would be tempted if one came in at a longer length in my waist size.

They are all a bit short hey! That's exactly what led me to think they were all incorrectly measured and returned. Hmm... I just hope my size was someone elses ballsup.

    Fingers crossed,

    Scotty

I've just bought a kilt from them. The offer was for a gents full 8 yard wool worsted kilt (RRP £300 to be made at cost) with a starting bid of £139.99. You have to take the tartan on offer and I chose MacDonald of The Isles hunting. It is described as being from one of the U.K.'s leading and most respected mills, and judging by the photograph it looks like Marton Mills Jura. The guy's name is Bob Chalmers, based near Glasgow in Scotland, and he's very friendly and helpful. He took the time to discuss (via email) my requirements and as he's got brilliant feedback I'm very hopeful I'm going to get a good kilt, Arlen's post was very encouraging. I'll let you know when I get my kilt and I'll post pics.
