Anyone have a kilt from "Gaelic Themes"?

I have an opportunity to purchase a used kilt from a private sale and could find little about them with a google search (and search here)?

Found a website but there are no prices.

Seller states it is 16 oz and he purchased for $450.

He did not indicate #of yrds but I asked and am waiting for a reply. (for that prioce suspect 5-6)

I haven't got one of their kilts, but their site at gaelicthemes.net claims that their kilts are 8 yards, 13 or 16 oz, 100% worsted.

For a brief spell, we ordered kilts from them for the Scottish Tartans Museum. We stopped because there was a lack of consistancy in the quality. One kilt would be truly superbly made. The next we ordered might be rather sub par. This was a number of years ago, keep in mind. But we decided after a short while that we could not use this company for our kilt making needs because of the apparant lack of quality control.

I may be wrong, but I think they also market kilt hose - usually at a low price....?

Gaelic themes does provide kilt hose to many vendors, but they also sell kilts and other accessories.

I have 5 yard, 13 oz unit, that I find quite comfortable and well made...and IMO, it was a good value at about $150, delivered, as a display model.
