    Baby Powder, Gold Bond, Etc???

Greetings everyone. I was just wondering if us folk out here in Arizona are the only ones that ever use baby powder / gold bond or others to umm... powder under our kilts? It gets pretty sweaty out here sometimes, and we've learned that powdering helps a lot. I was just wondering if we were the only ones to apply this technique or if we were all alone in this application. If you haven't tried it, give it a shot, because it works great. You can always tell when we have kilt nights because if you got into the guys restroom, and you look at the ground you'll see multiple piles of white powder on the floor.

If you think we are completely nuts for doing this please feel free to share your opinions as well, because I know this'll probably sound silly to some people.

    Body Glide!

It comes in a stick like deodorant, works great. Find it in hiking or Cycling shops. Can also be found on the net.

Never tried it but it sounds like it makes sense, I just may have to try it this summer, it seems to be getting a little warm up here for 16oz wool.

    Hey, Ayin!

I'm a fellow desert rat & native Phoenician. I've been wearing kilts full-time for about 4 years now & I tried powder at first, too, until I learned about Body Glide, which I've been using for the last few summers & all I can say is DEFINITELY get yourself some Body Glide! Not only is it a LOT less messy than powder, it works better & is effective a lot longer!

I get mine at the R.E.I. store near PV mall, but it's available at plenty of athletic shops catering to runner, hikers & cyclists.

Highly recommended for your "inner" well-being during our blast furnace summer.

And hey, what do you think of a Valley of the Sunburn kilt night on the Memorial Day weekend?
    .
Happiness? I'd settle for being less annoyed!!!

I will definitely try some of this body glide that everyone's been talking about. I had never even heard of it before.

As for Memorial day weekend, i currently have my son that weekend, BUT I will talk to my mom tonight to see if she would want to watch him that Saturday night. Where would you like to get together because i'd love to gets some pints and celebrate kilted style.
