    Balmoral bonnets

Wondering who you prefer to purchase from? I would like the best quality I can afford without being ridiculous. I am in need of a black balmoral, not a TOS. There are soooo many venders my eyes have begun to cross.

    TIA

Great variety, great quality, great price, great service. Can't go wrong, if you are on the west side of the big pond. Probably on the east side too.

Really top notch bonnets should be your prime concern since a bonnet should last forever. I have a couple of bonnets from Glengarry Hats, and while they're pretty OK, the quality is inconsistent. Even the actual size of the "crown" is not consistent; one hangs much lower on the side than the other.

A top notch bonnet will cost more than a cheaper one, but, as I said, it should outlast you!

I would recommend that you purchase one made in Scotland rather than a Pakistani made balmoral for reasons stated above. Try these guys:

Mine came from J Higgins in Lanexa KS. I think it was made in Scotland and seem to be very good quality.

OK, here's my vote for all the right reasons. Sorry I overlooked Keltoi.

+1 on MossieCroft Balmorals! I have on in navy. Getting rid of that grosgrain on the headband was brilliant.

I have a couple of the "classics" as well, but this one is my favorite.

John is good to do business with, and the discount helps. I bought two kilts from him, and he is a pleasure to do business with.. Keltoi does have a return customer with me.
