    Beach volleyball kilted??

My company is having a "strategic planning day" on the shores of Lake Powell. Part of the day is for play. Volleyball is on the list. I enjoy volleyball.

I also want to wear a UK to the gig, sort of my first kilted day at "work."

Made a vow to myself to always go regimental when kilted...but I'm rethinking that now. Can't see how I can maintain kilt decorum while playing volleyball.

So, considering wearing jockeys for this kilted gig.

Anyone have any experience playing volleyball kilted??

    Thanks

That's on the workman's model, and I hear from my friend with a workman, it's very practical for bending over, climbing ladders, etc.

I can't see a big problem with kilted Volleyball with either the right group of participants or the right unders, situation depending. I haven't had as much luck with modesty snaps as Zeytoun's friend. I've never been able to find a situation where the snaps on the Workman UK functioned well for me in terms of mobility or staying snapped, not to mention the fact that they bunch the kilt in such a way as to make me look like a Middle-Eastern begger. I say let the kilt fly and let those who need to be scandalized have their day.

If you do that, management will probably be too intimidated to bug you about anything for a while...

    I agree with you, Jamie.

Much as I love and adore my Utilikilts, I have never yet been able to bend over with the modesty snaps in place - and not have them pop undone. In any case, whilst they are snapped together, the entire garment becomes really rather uncomfortable.

It doesn't really worry me as I also prefer to "let the kilt fly and, as I have stated many times, "there is nothing new under the sun!"

Or under the kilt either for that matter.
