    CA tartan kilt

As a native (albeit displaced) Californian, I've been strongly considering getting a kilt made in the CA tartan. However, except for SportKilts, I've not been able to find anyone who makes it. Does anyone know where I can find it?

    Welcome oneinakilt,

I offer the California tartan in 16 oz. wool. Visit my website and look at any kilt made in the 16 oz. Jura range. I also offer a 10% discount to X Marks the Scot members.

    Excellent, slohairt!

I checked out your website and will definitely keep you in mind when I decide to buy (if not a kilt, I saw a few other things that caught my fancy...)

Pretty much any kiltmaker who has an account with Marton Mills can get the California tartan from them. They keep it as one of their 'stock' tartans.

I bought my California, Modern 16 ounce tartan from Rocky, who ordered it from Scotland for me. I then turned it into a 4-yard box pleat kilt, which I wear a lot.

It certainly is a good looking tartan. Now that I've seen it, it goes on the Wish List.
