Economy Help!!
Ok...I don't want this to get into a vendor war, but from personal opinion, which is more worth the money:
SWK Standard @ $80.00
or
FC 160z. @ $68.00
Just wondering. I'll be using this as my "church" kilt for awhile, so it will range from "dressy" to "preaching."
Thanks in advance.

I have not had any experience with the folks at Frugal Corner as of yet, I do know that if you go with the Stillwater you should be pleased with it and it will show up rather quickly.

A little...not too much, however. I'll check them out, since I can't sleep anyway.

Their "The Works" kilt is definitely worth checking out. I have an excellent quality mini-kilt from them. My husband has a beautiful kilt from them in the Abercrombie tartan. The Works kilt comes with sewn down pleats, fringe and side buckles. Give it a look.

Like McMurdo but I have not had any experience with the folks at Stillwater as of yet, but I am thinking about the Heavy Weight Leatherneck Box Pleated. I do know that if you go with Frugal Corner you should be pleased with it and it will show up rather quickly too. I just recieved last week a 16oz kilt from Mark at Frugal Corner. I have wore it twice in a week, once for a meeting with my parade Krewe of Shamrocks. Also for a Masonic Funeral Service with my Prince Charlie, I love it.. My band the Egypt Shriner's Highlanders have choose Mark to weave the MacQueen Tartan, too start making Kilts for us.

I am the one on the left with the hunting Stewart 16oz from Frugal Corner

I do not have any experience with FC. But I have dealt with Jerry at SWK several times, and the products, service and delivery have always been outstanding - usually well beyond what you would expect.

truthfully, from what others have said thusfar, you won't be disappointed either way.
I went with the SWK heavyweight blackwatch. Which is fabulous.
