    It is tough to match colors after the fact. roan is correct that solid black will go with any kilt. Just don't get shiny ribbon, that would look bad.

    Modern green or modern blue flashes would both go well with you kilt.

    I have both now, and wear the green more just cause its my favorite color.

    If you are still looking for purple flashes, we have them available in both the standard elastic garter flashes as well as traditional garter ties.

    I think purple flashes on either bottle green or navy blue hose would look great with that tartan.
