Fraser Hunting to the sett or white stripe?

I'd like your opinions on the nicest look for this tartan. I tried this with the red stripe a few months ago but not the white.

    To Sett

    To White Stripe

I think it would look good.

Judging solely from the image, it looks like it would give a nice flash of blue as well, when the pleats are doing their swish thing.

Stripe whenever possible. (but that's just my opinion)

    The white stripe looks terrific.

If this were left up to me as a kiltmaker, I'd probably do it to the stripe.

Trick on how to see if it'll look good or not... Look at the tartan and squint your eyes. If a single stripe jumps out at you, you can pleat it to that stripe. If nothing really jumps out, pleat it to the sett.

That's a good tip. I've always wondered how you could determine which stripe would make a good pleating without seeing a kilt made that way.

I have seen the Fraser Ancient Hunting to the sett and to the stripe, and the sett looks better in person. IMHO

Rocky, of all people I would figure you'd give the best advise. But this time??

    BOTH, one of each

Sorry...had to do that. I would agree with everyone, the stripe would look sharp.
