    Glengarry and Balmoral ribbons.

    The ribbons are sewn together a bit. Should they be separated and then tied?

    If that's how you want them.

    If you're going to tie them, it's much easier if you rip out the seam. If you're not going to tie them, they flutter better with the seam ripped out. If you're going to cut them off, it doesn't matter if you rip out the seam or not.

    What color bonnets do you have?

    Glengarry ribbons are never tied. It is sometime apprpriate to tie balmoral ribbons into a bow.

    Not sure what you mean by the above statement?
    Balmoral ribbons generally are tied, though on occasion I have seen a few individuals wear them untied.

    I wear my balmoral ribbons tied. I've never seen glengarry tied, but I've only ever seen balmoral bonnets with tied ribbons
