| | | Hose up or down?
I am still working on posting pictures, but have question I have not been able to find the answer to. When wearing boots, (10 inch, standard black, jump boots) and a traditional plaid kilt, do you scruch the hose down or leave them up with a flash perhaps?
Thanks,
Joe

With boots - I'd scrunch the socks, even with a traditional kilt.

If I'm dressing more casually (ie with a t-shirt or fleece), I'd be inclined to scrunch down by socks. And even if I did leave them up, I think I'd skip the flashes for a casual look. But that's just my opinion. Find a look you like and go for it.

Scrunch 'em, and therefore skip the flashes.
And be careful about calling it a plaid kilt. Some of us get our drawers in a wad about that.

Ok,
So don't call it plaid.
No flashes.
And socks down.
Thank you,
Joe

And don't even get us started on what color they should (or shouldn't!) be...
;)

Just to muddy the water a bit, I will hike up my socks if it's cold out, even with boots.

Well I currently have three color choices. Dark green, bright red, and grey. I think all three work, but basic black would be best. None are real kilt hose, just sport socks from the local soccer store until I can get some real hose ordered.
