how casual
At this time of year when its 85-90 outside I like to go more casual in my
light weight kilts my question is the apperance of style ok when I put my sneakers and sluoch socks on and go.? It is just to warm to be in the long kilt hose .

Sure!
Push the socks down and maybe match the colour of the socks to the shirt. No need to melt when you wear a kilt

These days I wear my casual Kilt with no socks and Teva sandals.
No more stares than usual...

I am with you there when I am out walking the dog it's a t-shirt, my kilt and a pair of Caterpillar sandals, no hose or socks of any kind, however my level of formality tends to change with the situation.

Last weekend at the Potomac Celtic Festival, I tried wearing light weight cotton hose. I only lasted about 2 hours. It was just too hot for me. Luckily I brought along a pair of sandals. They definitely saved the day.
I personally don't see anything wrong with the look but my wife hates it. She only really thinks kilts look good with boots.

My Lady dislikes the pushed-down-hose look, so when I want it a little cooler I wear low top socks with my boots.

Wear what you feel comfortable wearing or what you would wear with shorts. Dress for the occassion.

I say wear what works for you and what you like.
I sometimes wear brown leather sandals with my utilikilt mocker or solid color Sportkilt. I always feel the look is less proud Scot and more like aspiring gladiator though...

Personally, I think sandals go well with kilts in hot weather.
