I Cant Make Up My Mind!!!!

    HHHEEELLLPPP!!!!

Went back to fabric hell today (and I call it that as there is too much to choose from there & I end up spending hours wandering the aisle lost in a daze because of this) and saw the following fabrics & cant make up my mind which to go with. I am nearing the end of my "Black Watch" project (note to self: PROPERLY count the number of pleats you really need across your butt BEFORE stiching them down by hand!!!) and am looking for my next endeavor and have come up with the following selection of fabrics:

Methinks number three (3). But that's just my opinion.

#2 would make a killer Great Kilt.

for a modern kilt I vote for #3.

Take that red/pink stripe out of #4, though and I'm THERE

I kinda like the red in #4. Would look interesting pleated to the red stripe. The whole thing (minus the red) reminds me of the Grey Douglas.

You really didn't think there would be some kind of consensus here did you? Personally I like #s 2 and 3. Best of luck!

I actually like #4 a lot. It's a nice serious looking tartan with just a hint of color. My 2nd choice would be #3.

My personal favorite is #4, which is a knockoff of Oban Grey (#1237) or Burberry Gray (#1239). There is an extra black stripe and white stripe and the red has been split into two; other than that it is extremely similar to the two named tartans.
