    Kilt Hose

I was thinking about getting another pair of hose since we are starting to head into the end of the summer. Usually I prefer a more casual wear so I just push down a normal pair of crew socks down onto the top of my favorite Doc Marten boots as it is cooler, but from time to time I do like to pull the hose out. I was wondering what color would be a good addition to my standard black hose and white hose to wear with my Stewart Black kilt... Just let me throw this out there really not feeling the red hose so let’s go with other options...

I'd say any of the other colours then in the tartan, bottle green, or blue work, you could also go for an oatmeal or stone colour like this:

Bottle green or lovat blue would be my suggestion, although Black works well. "WB Socks" who are an ebay store is probably your cheapest option.

EDIT: You're too quick for me Glen

I'd go with green since you've ruled out red. Of course, black is a given.

Stone/Oatmeal are the same colour really, it's just that different vendors will use different names. I got these from the ebay vendor already mentioned
WBSocks. The great thing about ordering from them is that they are inexpensive enough that you can order many different colours.

Yes I agree. Also maroon, lovat green and bottle green are worth consideration.

I think some consideration goes with ewhatelse you're wearing...for instance I think McMurdo's shirt makes those socks work especially well. Of course the colors in the tartan are a good choice, depending on the effect you're looking for. of course red could work, but it's a different effect than the oatmeal...less subtle.

Great Ebay store, i have already grabbed a pair of the lovat green and another pair of black since they had the rampant lion embroidered on them, might go ahead and get a pair of the red even if they just sit in the drawer at least i will be giving them a fair shake. Only problem now is that i am not seeing either the oatmeal or stone so will probably look at some of the state side e-stores
