    Kilt Hose Color Help Please

Next weekend I'm up on Mt. Mingus, AZ for an annual 12 Step Retreat I've been going to for the last 16 years. We always have a dance.

The last couple years I've been kilted at the Retreat. Decided this year to wear the Isle of Skye to the dance. Okay, my lady decided I'd look good in it. Gonna wear it with the fancy ruffled Renn type natural white shirt my daughter gave me.

I can't decide if I should match the shirt with ecru/white hose or go with the purple Lewis hose that look so good with the Isle of Skye tartan?

Its up in the woods and an informal dance. But want to look my best for my lady.

Here's pics from the last two years dances.

That's a good friend I was dancing with, no my lady.

As you can see I matched the hose with the kilt, sort of, with the Lord of the Isles.

My only thought is that the flashes might stand out more with the white hose.

    Any advice appreciated.

Since it's a more-or-less formal thing, dressing up for the dance, I'd go with the natural hose.

I am wearing my IOS right now with oatmeal hose, I would say go for that look match the shirt, that way the kilt stands out more, then again it is an Isle of Skye.

Umm, but it ain't formal... most are in jeans. Theme this year has something to do with angels, but they're letting me in anyway.

I vote the the Purple Lewis hose, they are a winner with IoS tartan!

I'm gonna cast my vote with Panache's for the purple hose. Think they would look smashing. Got any solid green flashes? They would stand out against the purple hose...

I do have solid green flashes, and also the IOS tartan flashes...hmmm

Who ever thought this olde bird would be asking fashion advice for a dance in the woods! Kilts seem to poison the slob urges in a man.

Haha. Yeah, we're like a bunch of hens now aren't we? Hey Ron... does this tartan make my arse look fat?

The kilts just make us more aware and proud of what we look like. Not a thing in the world wrong with that.

I'd say the purple with the IOS flashes.
