    Kilt Pin Locks!!!

Came across this idea while cruising ebay tonight. I know that you can use a piece of rubber on the pin, but these look like a good ides and not too expensive.

Agreed you'll not lose a pin but using an allen key could be quite fiddley. plus there is also the chance of the pin upon coming undone being held pinted directly at the knee just awating the next solid object to impale the wearer. I'm going to pick up some rare earth magnets and modify my XMarks pin and post pictures. Magnets, I believe, are the best alternative.

I took a look at the collar and set screw. I would worry about the set screw, it looks like it is steel and may rust. At least for me, I sweat a lot. My brother sweats more, he can beat me to the first drop off the nose every time.

I mentioned the pinseller locks in an earlier post and included pictures - I don't think you have to worry about them rusting not only because they are not made of iron but also because there is another apron between them on the back of the outer apron and any sweaty bits!
