    Look Familier?

First off, my apologies for the absence of a pic of the kilt itself,I'm temporarily camera-less. Instead I'm having to use my scanner. Onward.. One of my kilts is in this tartan. I've been trying every tartan guide I can find without success. Anyway I thought I'd post a scan of a small section of it in hopes that some would recognize it. Since it's mostly green its perfect for St. Patricks day.

Armageddon was yesterday. Today we have real problem.

I hope you find out what it is...it's very sharp and wouldn't mind having a kilt made out of that myself....love the green....

The kilt measures out to around 6 1/2 yards, medium weight. Unfortunately theres no label on it. It's one I bought back in December at an estate sale.
I've seen this tartan or one similar to it recently, I just can't remember where.

Isn't that the Scotch Tape tartan? We had a thread about that, a while back.

Using the House of Tartan colour search, it's the Grand Lodge of Scotland tartan.

    Andrew.
Thanks for the I.D. I've never had any luck using the Tartan color search.
I'll be wearing this kilt only for special occasions from here on. From what I've been able to learn, this is a relativly new tartan, designed for the Grand Lodge of Scotland and is the worlds only official Masonic Tartan.
The link below has more info on this tartan.
