Looking for a family tartan.
Maybe someone can help me. I've been looking for a Parsons family tartan for quite some time and I haven't been able to find one. I've done lots of searches on the net and no one can help me. I know that my part of the clan hails from Wales and there is Irish and English blood in us also. Our clan originally comes from England and then went to Ireland, and so forth. It's just fustrating that I can't find anything about tartans for my family name. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

tartans...
There is always the Welsh National (St. David's) tartan, or an Irish tartan like the Irish National. if you know where your family is from in Ireland, all of the 32 Irish counties have a tartan now, and there are some counties in England that have them too.
I'll see what I can find about the Parsons when I get home.
Cheers,
Todd

I just checked out "Parsons" on the Scottish Tartans Authority search feature. The recommended tartan is Macpherson, which of course means "son of the parson"...!

You've got all sorts of tartans in the MacPherson line... and many are available! You're lucky!!!
You're also fortunate enough to be able to wear the District Tartans, the Welsh kilts, and the Nationals!
DUDE~ choices... choices.
