    MOD Length Check Help

Picked up this old MOD Seaforth Highlanders kilt awhile back. It's from at least the 40's and was in pretty rough shape when I got it.

A good hand washing and repressing and it's looking sharp again. The only problem is it's a little shorter than I normally like to wear an MOD kilt.

So what do you guys think?

For my eyes, the length is perfect!

Right at the top of the knee!

    Looks good!

I think its OK. I know some people like to wear the kilt at mid knee but anywhere from the top of the knee to the middle of the knee is fine.

It looks fine to me, but I like for the kilt to brush just at top crest of the knee. I have a couple of cheapies that fall a little lower and I find that I don't wear them as much.

I think part of my problem is that it has less rise than I'm used to on an MOD kilt.

I also usually go for the mid-knee length too.

    Thanks for the input guys!

I like the length you've got it. Nice looking kilt!

The length is fine but it was probably worn by a shorter man before, since I agree with Dave about the rise. It does look good though.

MOD only has two sizes, too big or too small.

Looks good enough to me. If you look at old photos you'll see that would have been fairly normal length.

And, might I add, nice Vasque's.

I'm wearing the same ones right now.
