The superb quality of Jerry's service extends well beyond "mere" speed in shipping. A couple weeks ago I managed to get myself so thoroughly confused that I placed three nearly identical orders for a heavyweight kilt. Only one of the orders included my phone number, but Jerry found it and called me to find out what I really wanted, then cancelled two of the orders and immediately refunded their charges.

Do the language laws in Quebec really require you to hire a mime who doesn't speak French if you hire one who doesn't speak English? Could a mime who doesn't speak either fill both roles at the same time? (Thanks to Calvin Trillin.)
