Re: Outfit critique
I like it. You could also wear that same combination with a blue tie for a second look.

Re: Outfit critique
Perhaps a photo of you wearing the outfit would help, as it is I'd wear the outfit with rabbit sporran and the green hose, I may or may not even bother with the garter ties. I may even leave off the waistcoat.

Re: Outfit critique
I'm not sure about either the tie or the shirt, more so the tie as it seems a little bright
Grey hose to tone with the jacket
Rabbit sporran
That's my suggestions but others may disagree

Defintely agree with Glenn on this one. A picture of yourself attired would help a lot. I know once or twice I have mad a faux pas and someone has been kind enough to point it out for me before the occassion.

Re: Outfit critique
Well i will have to take the picture with the hose, as they are presently drying after being washed this morning. Any advice on taking the picture by my self?

Re: Outfit critique
Myself, I like the outfit. The hose could work with either: grey with the jacket or (I think I prefer) the green with the kilt. I would NOT go with the horse-hair sporran - too much for a guest. And I can see why you've chosen that tie. It is bright but I think it works.
And I would also like to see how all this comes together.

Use a full-length mirror to take a picture of yourself
