Questions from the NON-KILTED
Usually When I wear my kilt, someone asks where are my bagpipes.
To this I answer " I am the designated drinker. Some one has to listen and be able to toast the band". It stops them dead in their tracks every time.

I generally say, "At home" ... but that's a great answer.

The one I like is, "Under my kilt!"

like dale, I usually reply "under my kilt".
Sometimes I entertain those asking with a fantastic story about how I was playing my pipes at a wedding. The bride was upset at me for upstaging her with my full Prince Charlie dress, and she broke the drones over my head. That one always gets a laugh or two, after which I have to explain what a drone is.

Aye,
"Under me kilt laddie" said with a smile and helpful tone usually leaves them speechless but laughing.

The old "I don't have bagpipes, Jethro..where's your banjo?" Is one of my favorites.
"I fear the man who drinks water and so remembers this morning what the rest of us said last night."
