    R kilt Advice-any good?

I'm looking for any noise on these kilts. What do you all think of them, who's got/had one and what's the pro's and con's? I like the look of them as a sports kilt and am obviously considering buying one, and if there's recomendations for alternatives they're welcome.
    Thanks in advance,
    Erin.
    Cheers,
    Erin

If it's any help, I know Robert personally.
His kilts are a wonder to behold. His is the only leather kilt I would consider owning.
I haven't held his hemp kilt but if the attention to detail, styling, and customer service of his other products is any indication I would not hesitate to talk to him about one.
An R-Kilt is definatly on my wish list.

Thankyou Steve that's praise indeed from one who'd be a good man to ask.

Graham has one of Robert's Hemp kilts down your way (Tasmania).

Everything I've heard is good, Saw his Leather kilt at the Philly Kilt Night, and it's beautiful.

    An unqualified 'thumbs up' here.
Have a black denim RKilt. A favourite.
Design, quality of workmanship, and delivery time - all top notch.

I've never seen one in person. BUT, a leather kilt from him is WAY up on my list. Just don't know how I'm going to pull together 7-800 smackers without getting murdered...

The only R-Kilt I have at present is one of Robert's leather kilts, in British Tan, and as much as I adore my other 5 real leather kilts from Utilikilts, Union Kilts and 21st Century Kilts, his just has to be the most comfortable and I-don't-want-to-take-this-off kilt of all. Here's a photo of it:

If this one is anything to go on, my recommendation would be, "Don't hesitate!" if you are seriously considering buying any R-Kilt. I guarantee you'll not be disappointed.

Hi Erin, I can't show off a nice leather kilt like Hamish's although I will have one one day.

Yes, as mddock58 said, I have Robert's black hemp kilt, it's my favourite work kilt, perfect in every way, and I plan to order another.
It's well made, strong yet soft, the leather looks great and the pockets well positioned. It looks and feels wonderful.

The ONLY small problem I had was a stud/screw that came loose, so robert sent over a whole packet of them!!! Robert is proud of his work, and backs it up well.

I only wish the hemp came in other colours like green or navy, perhaps one day!
