The Scotland Kilt Company - EBay
Could anyone here, recommend a kilt from The Scotland Kilt Company off eBay? http://stores.ebay.ca/The-Scotland-Kilt-Company
-16 oz poly/viscose with a cotton lining
- sewn rear pleats
- looks like at least one leather buckled closer, but I'd guess, one on each side.

Actually, this sort of poses a question in and of itself...
...if the demand for the actual PV material from Marton Mills is sufficient, why don't they (Marton Mills) work up a heavier weight PV? I don't know the technical restrictions involved in making this fabric heavier, but it IS great stuff and I would think that it would be well worth their while to consider it.

I heartily agree with all of this...and expand their PV tartan choices a bit while they're at it. (I just forwarded a link to this thread to Marton Mills)

I ordered my Tan Ghillie Brogues from this gentleman and received them quickly. I posted a review of them earlier. I cannot vouch for his ability to describe items correctly as the ghillies were not as described but still good quality. He was also quick to apologize and offer a refund if I wanted to return them or free shipping if I ordered from him again. Not bad service. O'Neille
Cowards die many times before their deaths; the valiant never taste of death but once. Of all the wonders I yet have heard, it seems to me most strange that men should fear; seeing that death, a necessary end, will come when it will come. --William Shakespeare, Julius Caesar
