    Semi-Formal kilt package from USAK

    So guys,

I've been thinking that I'm going to save up for a semi-trad argyle package. Is this a good value, I mean I know USAK makes great kilts, but is that package nice enough to wear at formal events and everyday wear? Just wondering what y'all think.

It is a fantastic value! I did that myself and I think Rocky posted a pic in his photo gallery. All the items are top notch and Scottish made or produced.
    All the best,

Yes and Yes, though for daywear I tend to go with tweed jacket and a daywear sporran.

Good call, I wanted to purchase the package before I graduate next May from college. And I think it'd be a great start to becoming a real kilted gentleman.

You can.... so what if you wear a robe over it.. Before and after the ceremony you do not wear the robe. My daughter wore her traditional Navajo clothes for graduation, it didn't matter she wore a robe over it.. It mattered she had it on. Same as it will for you

Rocky's package worked for me. I wore my semi-trad with Argyle to several black tie events, and was the best dressed there. The penguins were very jealous.

I agree completely, wear it under your robe.
