Sewing a fell on a Stillwater Standard?

Have any of you ever tried sewing a fell on a standard Stillwater kilt? I like the Nightstalker kilt but I don't like that it doesn't have a fell. Do you think that this is "do-able"?

    Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.
    Cheers!

This is very do-able. Do a search for something like "altering stillwater kilt" and you can find a post by Brother Carbomb that details the alterations you can make to a stillwater. This could very well be one of the most asked questions on this board.

This is my next quick project as soon as I finish my first kilt [next week or so]. I'll run a quick search.

I was going to try and do this on my Canadakilt (similar to a Stillwater, but with custom sizing), but have given that idea up. The problem being that the material was not trimmed down where the fell line should be, so it is extremely bulky when a fell is added. So I have decided to re-make the kilt (with the fell) using Barb's book. This will be my first attempt, and I don't want to use my good wool for a first try.
