My wife is looking for a shawl in the Naughton (McNaughton) tartan. Anyone here know where i can find something like that on relatively short notice?
Thanks!!

Have you tried the on line Scottish goods catalogues? And don't forget to check out our sponsers here on the site.

Re: Shawl for my wife
I have looked through several of our sponsors. In fact, I would prefer to do business with one of them.
I will check more online. Thanks!

I'd suggest either Burnett's and Struth

or the Scottish Tartan Museum
http://giftshop.scottishtartans.org/shawls.html
I have frequented both shops several times and never been disappointed with either.

She wants to wear it to the Burns Supper. Since her dress will have an open back and shoulders, it will be used to keep her warm.

Sorry about that, you could always talk to them and see if they might have something in stock. Otherwise I would go with Rocky's option as it will get there in time.

It's not scratchy in the least. It's beautiful fabric. If she's sensitive to wool, then this would be a brilliant choice.
[ ETA silk would also be brill, of course. ]
