    sizing a WPG kilt

I'd like to order a gordon tartan kilt from WPG and would like some advice on fit. The main thing is that I would like to wear it where a traditional kilt would be around the naval and so get it in a 24 or 25" length, will this make the fit look wrong somehow? Also any thoughts on how reliable their waist measurements are, true to size/wider/narrower then claimed? I'm gonna try ordering an inch to two inches smaller then my actual waist since I've dropped 30lbs in the last 3 years and still have another 60 to go so I'd like it to fit for a little while.

    Thanks for the view points.

Have you tried contacting WPG? They should be able to tell you if any of their clients chose to wear the kilt at the waist, and what they did to achieve a good fit.
