Sweaters: In or out?
Do I tuck my sweater inside my kilt or out?
I have usually work the sweater tucked out, but I was measured so that it fitu underneath. I've always thought that wearing the sweater tucked into trousers or kilts looked rather like a berk (geek for the yanks).

The only rule is that there are no rules.
Personally, though, for both comfort & appearance, I prefer it out.

I would not tuck it in. Then again, I don't tuck in my shirts half of the time.

Unless it's a very thin, fitted sweater I would not tuck it in. The bulkiness of sweaters look much better left untucked.

Agreed. Thin, autumn sweater can be tucked in, but thick ones, like Aran sweaters, should be untucked.

I wouldn't even contemplate tucking a sweater inside - warmth always comes above fashion.
I try to wear shorter sweaters with a kilt though so they don't overwhelm the appearance.

I vote out, mostly because of the bulkiness. I think they are as a rule worn out with trousers too, even with a button up shirt that is tucked in.
