    Tartan needed for plaid

    I have some tartan left-overs and need advice on what is the minimal material needed for plad, which would be used only as a decoration.

    Kilt police could arrest me if make something wrong

    For a small fly plaid, you would need 1 metre square, for a large fly plaid you would need 1.5 metres square, and for a day plaid you would need a length of 2 metres or so.

    Doesn't have to be something you wear necessarily. Make a neat table topper for your den and give all your friends something to ask about!!

    If you've got .75 metre or so, you might consider a waistcoat/vest.

    It's Stewart Black (small check) and it's 60/40 wool/poly mixture. I had 3 differnt tartans to choose in our local shop
