Tweed to go with my tartan
I have two kilts as of now. First I have my shining star. It's my Auld Scotland double box kilt

Then I have my pipe band kilt in the MacEwan modern tartan. I will wear the Auld Scot kilt a lot more than this but I want to let you know what I'm working with

So I want a jacket and vest I have been working with Rocky at USA kilts and the first 4 are my favorite. But what do you the real connoisseurs think?(you)

We seem to have similar tastes because I'm stuck on the same set.
Oh, and I wouldn't really think about matching the jacket with the kilts. Go with the shades you like best regardless of the kilt and then check to see if there are any problems with the colours which I suspect there won't be. Tartan is just like that.

2nd from the bottom (charcoal) will match these two and any future kilts. 3rd from the bottom would go wondrefully with the Auld Scotland.

I'm partial to herringbone. That only narrows it down to the three, which are all handsome.

I really like windowpane tweed. I'd go with one of those!
Boy I like that Auld Scotland!

No 4 gets my vote, then No 3. I think any will work with the tartans you have and definately please don't use the matchy matchy thought process to make your final decision

#2 would go great with Auld Scotland while #5 would look better with the second tartan. But don't sweat the matchy-matchy thing, just get something you like the loks of and it will likely be able to work with just about any tartan.
