JSP 336, Vol 12, Pt3, Pam 10, Sect 3, Annex B, (INSTRUCTIONS FOR WEARING ORDERS, DECORATIONS AND MEDALS WITH EVENING DRESS) Note 3:

"On occasions when it is desired that decorations should be worn with dinner jackets the invitation should state 'Black (or White) Tie - Decorations"

also found this
