Simply click on the Logo above for Burnett's & Struth.

Although located in Canada they are the Canadian branch of Lochcarron weaving mill and their reputation is impeccable.

They ship world-wide, so where you live is not really a problem.

I believe you'll also find a ladies kilted skirts listed on Kathy Lare's price list (Albuquerque) www.kathyskilts.com.

KennethRMC's wife Marsha has one in Burns tartan (I believe) that Kathy sewed. I believe you can PM him and they'll give you feedback.

Or, were you looking for off-the-rack?

My fair lass is well pleased with the one she had make by J. Higgins in Lenexa, KS. Not on the west coast, obviously, but they ship anywhere.

The Scottish Country Shop in Portland and Kilts.com in Salem are good bets as well. I personally know the owners of both shops and if you aren't pleased, I can straighten things out for you.

The Kilt and Thistle is the store name for Kilts.com
They are great folks and will treat you nicely. If they don't, let me know.
The store is located in downtown Salem, in the opera house.

We ordered one for the wife from the Strathmore Woollen Co. in Scotland, it ended up costing about 270 bucks(Cdn) that was all in including shipping and duty., and it is absolutley gorgeous, perfect fit, all around.
And would do it again in a heartbeat!!
It was delivered four weeks ahead of the scheduled date, and was packaged exquisetly.

The west coast of what? Your info doesn't list where you are...

Last year, I ordered an off-the-rack, machine sewn, ladies mini-kilted skirt from Strathmore for my lass. 10oz worsted wool in the Chinese tartan (they have other tartans available), delivered by Royal Mail in about 10 days, total cost (including shipping): $50 CDN. She's very pleased with it and so am I.

Perhaps BCTrucker ordered a longer, heavier weight, made-to-measure skirt for his wife?
