What to buy???

Well, I'm going to be pooling a bit of my Christmas money and also, possibly, hinting to my new wife what I'd like for Christmas from her.
And I can't decide between a Semi-trad American Heritage kilt from USA Kilts and a Nightstalker standard kilt from Stillwater kilts.

Does anyone have any recommendations?
Which is more comfortable? Which one fits into more situations?

Well, the nice thing about the semi-trads is that Rocky makes them to measure. The nice thing about the Stillwater is that it's almost instant gratification. I'd decide based on the tartan... which do you prefer?

The American Heritage is very nice, as is the Nightstalker...I think the Nightstalker would be more versatile, though - you could wear it with more due to the colors.

How do you plan on wearing your kilt.

That may have more of a bearing on the selection, that from who.

Both Rocky and Jerry sell good products, but both are equally for different uses.

Between the two I would go for the USA Semi-Traditional as it is made to measure and PV to my mind is a superior fabric than acrylic.

Both kilts would be worn for everyday wear and for various functions.
I really like both tartans.
I think I prefer the Nightstalker, but would like the fit and quality of a USAK.

I guess I'll just have to see if i can arrange to get both.

I also like the nightstalker. But I'd be more inclined to go with the black shadow tartan wool SWK. Especially this time of year. I only have one casual USAK so I can't personally say how I like the semi-trad until my Navy arrives. So get three and you'll be set for now.
