Some of the suggestions, especially with the eagle, are wider than they are high. Wouldn't that affect the way that they hang?

I like to shop the museum stores. Someone here found that nifty Irish Brigade insignia at the Antietam site, which now graces my Irish National.

May I throw my 2 cents in? Wonderful to hear that the Army is looking to make their tartan official....it's my understanding that there are 2 versions out there; it helps (my opinion only) that there is an 'official' one.
The Coast Guard tartan is official. I worked that project with Cdr. Anderson, who is the drum major for the USCG Pipe Band. I designed the tartan and wrote the history with hopes of giving back to the service I loved.
