    what are these little black straps?

    first, this is my 9yard 16 oz limerick, everything is amazing, but what are these little straps?

    I might be wrong, but it might be used for hanging up your Kilt. Some of my Wifes skirts and dresses have the same sort of straps on them.

    Those hanging loops are just for that, hanging, but I've never used them on my B&S 13 oz. hunting MacIntosh. They're actually a bit of a pain when dressing in that kilt.

    They're definitely meant for hanging your kilt, but I don't recommend you hang your kilt that way. I used to hang mine on them and I've had a seem open a bit(nothing major) because the weight of the kilt it too much. If you check some of the other posts regarding hanging your kilt you'll see that a lot, including myself, use a trouser or modified trouser hanger. 9yds at 16oz. is definitely too much for those loops.
