    The wifes kilts

Thought I would post a few pics of the wifes three kilts. Having said that, she hasnt worn them for donkeys years ... she has become one of the jeans brigade I'm afraid.
Anyhow, when she bought them nearly 30 years ago from a kiltmaker in Inverness, they were sold as ladies kilts, 6yds, medium weight. The length of them are 20" and they fasten to the right and were made to measure.

And a couple of her kilt pins

    aww those are beautiful!

I wish I still had my skirt from Ann Wyeth McCoy...it was just like those and would have been perfect. PLUS it was from a famous person

Why did my parents have to get me something like that when I was young and prone to losing things?

All very nice! I particularly like the round Celtic pin with the stone in the middle. Seems a shame she doesn't wear them anymore.
