Wisdom from my son
Yesterday, I was driving with my 12 yr old son down MacLeod Trail in Calgary--a busy commercial stretch in a city of 1 million. Interrupting my son, who was listening to his I-Pod, I casually said, "You sure don't see any men wearing kilts around here." "No, you don't", replied my son who then added, "It takes a real man to wear a kilt, not just a 'poser'." I said, "Where did you hear that?" "No where, I just thought it".
So there you go guys, wisdom of the day. We're no "posers"!

Re: Wisdom from my son
Dear Mods, if wisdom is "advice" I'm Ok for this thread to be here. I really intended it for "general kilt talk". Please move the thread if necessary. Thanks good sirs.

Hey, that kid "gets it."
Irony is that we do pose a lot for photos...but that's a different sort of posing.
Ain't it great to think, "Hey, this kid may grow up okay and be able to take care of me in my olde age - second diaper era...."

Thanks Riverkilt. What can I say... I'm proud of him. And, his wit is wonderful. I like his notion of "real".

That is wonderful. Out of the mouths of babes. I can only hope my children will be so wise.
