    X-KILT Newbie

I'm working with Mr. Allan's X-Kilt plans that I got fronm a friend. I'm having trouble with my apron, and can't quite figure out how the apron's supposed to be folded and sewn.

I was planning to have this kilt done by this weekend, but it just doesn't seem to be coming together. If anybody's in the Houston area, and has experience with these things, or knows a tailor/seamstress with experience in these things, please give me a shout here or off list.

Welcome messages are more appropriate for the Kilt Board Newbie forum.

Perhaps Tenire would like to introduce himself there and this forum can be reserved for answering his question?

    Thanks!

    Welcome!

I can only say: sit down and read Alan's instruction couple of times. At the end, I'm sure you'll find the proper way to do it.

    Good luck!!!

    Update...

Well, gentlemen, I THINK I got it worked out. it looks passable, at least. I ended up doing some creative folding and stitching, and ended up with a 'mock-apron' for the front.

I'll post a pic or three in the next few days.

Thank you all for the warm welcome!!
