    X Marks=Thrashers Kilt?

I'm NOT sure if this is wear to post, BUT . . .
NHL fans, another thread got me thinking (as watching tonights Thrashers/Penguins game on SportSouth) . . .
Would the X Marks tartan fabric (mine is still at the Tartan Museum) coordinate/match the Atlanta Thrashers "Blue" jersey? What about coordinate with the white or the "old," retired navy/red one?
    http://www.atlantathrashers.com/index.aspx
Thus far, I only have the "old" white and blue/red jerseys, not the "old" alternate/"new" home "Blueland" one. MAN, I NEVER thought I would even CONSIDER 3 jerseys for the SAME team!!!

A neat resource for those interested in hockey jerseys:

It also shows the "slug" Sabers logo one in 2006/2007, mentioned by possingk, in

    YEs

I think it would be a pretty good match to the Thrashers uniforms.

I have been looking for tartans to match the sabres and it is pretty tough and time consuming to find them without more knowledge than I have

It probably doaesn't have to match.... just as long as it doesn't clash it should be fine.

I am not a fan of the Leafs, but I think their jersey would look best with the Xmarks tartan. Particularly the white jersey, the blue may be too much.

I'm lucky to be a die-hard Penguins fan...I can just wear one of my solid black kilts with either the home or away jersey...Good luck to you folks with teams that have more complicated color schemes!

I think the Xmarks tartan would look good with either of the St. Louis Blues's jersies.

    Cheers,

But don't we want the tartan to be associated with a team that can win? Notice I didn't suggest a Vancouver jersey either

That is one of the reasons I miss the old black and red of the sabres. It did inspire me to make my own Sabres kilt though, blue and gold witout the slug.
