your opinions on kilt belt and sporran

the belt is a 2 1/4" nylon pistol belt and i added the celtic buckle

the sporran belt is a 1 1/4" nylon "pistol belt" and the sporran is an ammo pouch that i got from a Army-Navy store

anyway what do you all think? does the sporran look right? do you think the 3.5"s of nylon belt looks all right from the back?

love the belts. That's a killer look. Would be even better paired with a modern non-trad kilt.

I'm not too sure on the sporran though...looks a bit to long compared to it's width. Back up and let us see all of you.

Looks great! I have a Buckle coming, now I know where to go to get a belt I can attach to the buckle.

I'm a strong advocate of the web belts and the buckle looks nice. No problem with that much webbing from behind.
My vote on the sporran is that I don't like it. It just doesn't work for me but, hey, go for it if you like it. That's what this is all about.

PS I'd give reasons but they sound petty. Did you want reasons?

You know, I never really liked the the look of the nylon belts.
But with that buckle, and that kilt, that really works in my opinion.

The sporran belt seems a little too wide, but that's just my opinion. If you like it, go for it.

Is that a Stillwater kilt? If so, which model?

I love the belts but I think the sporran isn't quite the right shape (my opinion anyway). So did the buckle come that way - or have you made it black?

I think it looks great. I really like the belt buckle/web belt combo look. Is that just a standard kilt buckle? I think the sporran looks fine. Goes with the belt. Where did you get them all by the way?
