Burns Check by Matt Newsome
I received my 3rd kilt from Matt today which makes four traditional, four yard, box pleated kilts. Matt's work speaks for itself and has been well documented on the forums, some by me in the past. So, I'll make this short and sweet and get to the pictures. These were taken quickly after work today. Every shot I take I realize the 4.1 mp camera is in dire need of replacement. Someday.

Congratulations on the new kilt.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Wow Brad, that is great. (on a personal note, that means my next Newsome is 1 step closer!)
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

I am so happy you've got this kilt, I know you've been agonizing about it for some time, the Brown accessories look wonderful with the kilt, congratulations.

That's very nice, Brad. The Burns check tartan is definitely one of the most visually striking tartans out there. Congratulations on another fine kilt choice.

Thanks guys. The Burns Check certainly isn't a common choice. But, I'm most pleased I picked it. This may very well be my favorite kilt.

Looks great! I had always wondered what a kilt would look like in that tartan/check.
