Finally did it

I just got off the phone with Jerry at What Price Glory. I ordered a Cameron kilt. Should have it in about a week and it should be one helluva kilt. Sure can't complain about the price. I'll let y'all know my opinion once it gets here.

Cameron is my 3 great grandmother's line, she came to Nova Scotia from Skye and wanted to honor her but not sure I could get that military style up over my Buddha belly...

I measured carefully and got the 24. Remember, these are military kilts and have a higher rise. Also, only the Black Watch comes in a 23 inch length. All the others start at 24, which for me is just usable. I wouldn't get a 24 in a civilian kilt.

The Cameron kilt from What Price Glory came today. Let me tell ya, you ain't gonna want to strap THAT baby on in warm weather. That beast is HEAVY. It's well and solidly made and the buckles are two prong rather than one, probably to spread the load. If you want a kilt for cold weather you can't do better, it'll be great around these parts. Wisconsin gets a might chilly in the winter season. ;) The rise is higher than usual, but that's normal for a military cut kilt and will take some getting used to. I'll post a pic when I get one. All I can say is it's well worth the money.
