How does it wear in the heat? How does it handle the wind?

In the heat (I'm familiar with heat being in New Mexico) it is just like wearing a pair of shorts (temperature that is.) Not hot what-so-ever (no hotter than anything else anyway!) In the wind, it stays down and I've never had even a fear of it blowing up. It's a substantial garment being that it's Strome weight wool. New Mexico is pretty windy at times, so this has been tried and proven with this one already.

I can also attest to what Bradley has just shared. I just spent the week in Albuquerque in a 4 yard box pleat in some very windy and hot times this week. (mid to upper 90's during the day and gusts to 40mph with no issues)

Great looking kilt and I love the tartan. I am sure the colors will look just right in New Mexico.
