    THANK YOU,

The photo is exactly what I had in mind. Tailoring details on my doublet make that "look" unwieldy ( a snap shows ) but I am grateful to see how it does in the photo. If I ever bespeak another, I will know what else to do.

Isn't my accessory lovely? She distracts the eye from my more obvious faults..

While her tights are most striking, I must say, the the two of you compliment each other nicely.

I hope you don't mind, here's the image so people don't have to link over.

The doublet looks fantastic and I really like your sporran, as well.

Thanks, Matt, for revealing us. I am learning how to post images, I promise.

And thanks all, for the kind compliments.

I will pass them on to my friend. The sporran was a glue job. The idea of dressing it up came directly from these pages and I should thank whoever originally posted those old pics of leopard skin sporrans. Thanks. I used a stenciled rabbit pelt and an otherwise undistinguished sporran. I slipped the cantle off, glued on the fur, then trimmed it to reveal the raised seam of the gusset with an x-acto knife. Back on with the cantle and le voila. We had a good time.
