Kyle,
What strikes me is how well the casual look comes off. Formal is expected to be fancy and so I think we focus on it too much. The more relaxed pics show a level of comfort with the kilt that I appreciate.

I didn't realize there was an ancient version of the hunting tartan. I assume the one I wear (from USAK) is the "modern" if not otherwise labeled?

Yours would be the modern variation. I also have the modern hunting colors in the 16 ounce weight as well.

I do know for a fact that he does own a kilt in the Murray of Atholl tartan, as well as the Cameron of Erracht, and MacFarlane ancient (shown in the below photo-very similar sett to the Clan Chattan ancient). Thanks for the correct identification mate-must of been confused when glancing at the photo again!

Nicholson's is one of my absolute Pub's in the country.
Awesome beer selection and the best variety of Scotch on tap I have seen.
Your outfit selections are quite nice. Thanks for the pictures.

I'm also a big fan of threads with many pics. FYI there is a limit on the number of pics per post but not per thread. Nothing categorically wrong with breaking up a photo spread into three threads, but I prefer to put them into three posts within the same thread for the sake of continuity.
