I love that part of California. We're moving to Ventura this summer, hopefully we'll be able to move a bit further north in a few years (or back to Scotland, either is preferable to the L.A. area).

Where did you find someone to do the Mozarbic rite? (Now there's a cultural mash-up, the rite of Toledo, Spain, in a traditional kilt!)

The MOZ has been taken on by the Episcopal Church as one of the Standard settings, the "solemn" tone for prayer D (our version of St. Basil's anaphora). It is a Cosmic Mass and so the setting gets quite cosmic too. I never thought of it as a cultural mash-up since I'm used to it, but true enough... Toledo origins.

You certainly know your liturgies.
